chrismas parade

The kids and I went to the christmas parade the day after thanksgiving (it's just taken me awhile to post), we met my mother in law and 2 sister in laws with their kids. The kids had fun. We got to see all the lights and Santa was at the end.

Temple Square Lights

We went to see the lights at Temple Square on Saturday. We rode Trax to SLC, ate pizza, and walked around in the freezing cold weather. It was fun. We took Braeden with us and him and Drake loved the train ride.

I love our christmas cards this year....They turned out so good. Thanks Ashley, you did an awesome job. Hope everyone has a good christmas.

The kids got a new puppy, they named him Jaxon and they love him. He's been a good little puppy

Oh brother!!

Drake and Kutter got to go pheasant hunting with dad the other day, oh they had so much fun. Kutter loves to hunt and shoot his bb gun.

Turkey Trot

Drake took 6th. place in the turkey trot at school.

Drake got baptized on Saturday October 31, 2009 at the Brigham City Stake Center. It was a very special day and we are so proud of him for his decision to get baptized. He was very excited for this. We went trick or treating after his baptism.

Pumpkin walk

Drake's pumpkin walk at the school. They had hot chocolate and halloween cookies at the end. Drake's theme was witches and warlocks. There were some really creative pumpkins there this year. Each year it gets better.

Wrestlling

Drake started wrestling and had his first meet on Saturday. He did such a good job.

American West Heritage Center

I took the two little kids to American West Heritage Center for a corn maze while Kevin and Drake were hunting in Idaho. Kutter and Quaid absolutley loved the hay jump and the train ride. They had fun. Drake had such a good time in Idaho with his dad. He felt so big.

Utah State Fair Fun

We took the kids to the fair on Thursday with Kevin's family. The kids had so much fun going on the big yellow slide and riding the bull. Kutter thought he was so tough when he got done. Drake got to meet "Smokey" while Kevin, Kutter, and Quaid watched the rodeo. Drake and I walked around and looked at the animals and browsed the booths. We did take the kids to the Box Elder County fair one night and let them go on some rides, but I didn't hav my camera. Summer is nearing an end when the state fair arrives and labor day is over. How sad :(

homemaker part 2

Salsa, yum yum...... I made salsa on Tuesday. It turned out very good. So far this year I have done 30 quarts of pickles, 14 pints and 2 quarts of dilly beans, 12 pints of raspberry huckleberry jam, and 6 quarts 12 pints of salsa. It's onto peaches on Friday and finishing up salsa.

Firsts

Kutter started pre-school today, he goes two days a week for two hours. It is so nice to get that little break. He goes with some kids he knows so he didn't have a hard time. When we pulled into the school, he said "you're not leaving me here." Oh yes dear I am, and I did. He had a fun day.
Drake started 2nd. grade and loves being in school. He is such a social bug and has made all new friends. He didn't have any of the same kids from 1rst. grade in his class this year. He likes his teacher and his favorite part is recess of course.

One year ago......

Quaid was born at 7:59 a.m. one year ago. He weighed 6lb. 15oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Quaid has always been so good natured he laughs and smiles all the time. He has been such a baby. We sure love him and having him as an addition to our family. He's my last baby and I have sure enjoyed him. Happy Birthday baby boy. We love you!!

Bear Lake

We just got back from a few days in Bear Lake. We spent a couple of days at the lake, hiked into Bloomington Lake and Drake swung off the rope swing, camped, played, and had soooo much fun. The kids love going to Bear Lake and playing. Drake is getting so good at swimming and man is he tan. Kutter loved the jet skis and having water fights. Quaid loved the sand and even though the water at Bloomington lake was freezing cold, he still wanted to play in it. I love summer.
