Halloween

We had a good halloween. The kids did their parade at school, we had jack olantern pizza for dinner and went to the trunk or treat.

Husky the hog

Drake raised a 4H pig this year and sold him in the Box Elder County Fair. He did such a good feeding and watering him and training him to walk with a cane. We loved Husky and were sad to see him go but appreciate Brent Alvey Plumbing for buying him. Drake made good $ and will be able to put it in his college fund. This was a new experience for us, but one we will repeat for sure.

Arrow of Light

Drake recieved his arrow of light in scouts in June. He worked hard and we are so proud of him.

Just one

We only had one accident while building the house. Kutter tripped on a board and his hand got cut on a peice of trim. 4 stitches later he was all smiles!

Yellowstone pack trip

Kevin took Drake on a pack trip into the Tetons. They had such a good time. Drake said he caught 20 fish and he even caught one in the snow. He said they seen a bear, some elk, a bunch of deer, and everyone that went caught fish! I think he was a little scared of the bears, but he said otherwise. Kevin goes on this trip every year with his dad and spends a week there while the boys and I play at home. I am so glad Drake got to go this time and spend some "guy" time with his dad. He rubs it in all the time that he is old enough to go and the other two aren't. Sure glad you had fun bud. Glad you made it home safe, even though he was a little sore from the 28 mile horse ride in.

We got the rock wall going up the front steps done one weekend and the railing on the deck. It is all coming together so nice. I love my house and love love love our location. We have the best neighbors and it reminds me of "home".

burning the ditches

Burning the ditches in front of the house and getting rid of all the old dead weeds. The kids love anything to do with fire. It was so nice when all the new grass started growing and the asparagus we could pick and eat for 2 weeks. I love where we live.

Horse play

There is a whole lot of horsing around going on around our house most days!

Hot Chocolate

Saige came over to play and we had some hot chocolate after they came inside. What a fun day it was. Kutter sure loves being able to have friends over.

Blue n Gold

Drake had blue n gold with the scouts last week, he received several awards. He is such a good kid and we are so proud of him.

Valentines

Another Valentines day has come and gone. The kids had fun at their school parties. Drake got to dress nice and have a "manners" day.
