Drake

Drake is turning 8 on July 31rst. I don't have a scanner so I can't scan in any pics of him as a baby, so here are some of his birthday party and some of my favorites.
Drake was born at 12:10 a.m. on July 31, 2001 via c/s because he was breech. He weighed 2lbs. 13oz. was 15 inches long and had black hair(all over). He was lifelighted to Primary Childrens from McKay for a new drug called Nitric because his lungs were so tiny and he was not getting any better. Drake spent 4 weeks at PCMC and was later tx. back to McKay where he spent another 10 weeks growing and getting stronger. Drake came home on October 24. He was on oxygen for 8 months because of his lungs being so immature. Drake was born with the most beautiful eyes and longest eyelashes, they are his trademark. Drake has always been a little fighter and we are so proud of him. We love you Drake. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Yellowstone trip, lots of pictures!!

We just got back from our trip to yellowstone. The kids had tons of fun and seen tons of animals. We stopped at Bear World the first day and stayed in Island Park that night, then went through yellowstone the next day and stayed in Jackson hole we ate at Bubba's (yummy) and spent some time in Jackson. It was fun and nice to get away with Kevin and the kids.

I got Kevin tickets to George Strait for his birthday in March and the concert was last night, it was such a good show. George is awesome. He sang most of my favorite songs and yes he sang "The Fireman". He is so sexy too, he turned around and gave us all a view plenty of times. It was a good time. Usana is an awesome venue for concerts. I highly recomend it.

I made pickles today with some help from my mom. It's really not that hard, and I can't wait to taste them. I love pickles and can remember when I was little opening a new jar of homemade pickles to eat. YUM

North Shore

We went swimming today, we didn't get out much last summer and we are making up for it this year. The kids love to go swimming, Quaid is a little water baby.

I met my sister and her kids from Twin Falls in Lava and we took the kids swimming. The kids had so much fun playing together and swimming around. Deklyn, Dallon, Dawsyn, Drake, Kutter, and Quaid were there. After swimming we went to my brothers house in Pocatello and ate and watched a movie. We stayed at his house that night and then drove home in the morning. It was fun to get together with family and I hope we can do it again.

We had a baby-

Our baby mule, Molasses was born on Thursday. He is so cute and the kids can't get enough of him, it's fun to have a baby around. Maybe this will cure my being baby hungry?
